Definitely one of the best cafe/coffee shops that I've ever visited! The shop is cozy and relaxing, with really good coffee and pastries! The real highlight for me was their ube cookie - you can actually taste the ube, and it wasn't overpowering or bland. Just the perfect amount. Highly recommend this spot, and will definitely be coming back again!

Rooster Coffee House feels like a proper neighborhood café. Coffee tastes fresh and strong, lattes come out perfect every time. Croissants are buttery and flaky, banana bread actually moist. Big windows let in tons of light, seating is comfy, and it’s quiet enough to work or read. Staff are friendly without being over the top. Simple, cozy spot that just gets everything right.

Rooster Café is my go-to place in Toronto. It’s right across from Riverdale East Park, giving you a clear view of the city skyline, and the sunsets here are beautiful, falling right behind the buildings. They serve really good coffee, and the baristas sometimes surprise you with special latte art, which adds a nice personal touch. Their almond croissants are also worth trying—but they’re usually available only in the mornings and tend to sell out quickly, so you might not always find them later in the day. The staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and whether it’s a weekday or weekend, it always feels like a cozy little escape in the city.

Go early on a weekend to get ahold of their cinnamon buns, they’re unreal. Good coffee and tea. Cute cafe with great views of the city and next to the park, gets busy most days and time of the day. Lots of their swag available in the cafe and various wine and beer options.

My friends and I stopped here this morning for a coffee and a quick snack after our bike ride. Being celiac, I always expect there to be limited or no options for baked goods when I check out a new place randomly but was pleasantly surprised when I found out they carried an assortment of yummy donuts and muffins that were gluten free. The barista was very helpful and I wish I could have been there longer but work beckoned and I had to get home, we will be back!

Genuinely my favourite cafe in the city. Cozy and comfortable with tons of natural light and places to sit to get work done. The baristas are all friendly (and have some excellent taste in music!) and skilled, and they make one of the best matcha lattes in the city using great quality Hokusan Niju matcha. Oh, and those lemon poppyseed muffins are to die for! How can something gluten free taste so darn good?! I visit here so often my family bought me a gift card for the holidays, and I've already used it up.

I just want to add that the atmosphere in the café is wonderful, and the girls were also very nice. From the drinks, I only tried the chai latte — it wasn’t really to my taste, but maybe that’s just me. However, the pastry I had was very delicious. I don’t remember exactly what it was, but it had a lot of coconut inside, and it was really tasty.
